LRO look up please marriage/births/baptisms Taylor

Post by jaycee »

Need further details of the marriage between Richard Taylor and Anne Burgess, 22/05/1814 at St. Anne's, Liverpool to discover parents' names.

Also need details from birth/baptism records for Margaret Taylor 16/10/1814 at St. Nicholas, Liverpool [ parents Richard and Ann ] and Martha Taylor 08/06/1829 at St. Peter, Liverpool [parents Richard and Ann]. I need to establish whether or not these two are sisters and hope perhaps father's occupation will be shown, and/or mother's maiden name. They are together on the 1841 Census, although Margaret is married by then.

Cheers, Jaycee

Unfortunately at the dates you are asking for there will not be a father's name given, if you are lucky there may be an occupation for the groom and possibly whether they live in the Parish or not.

Birth records are not available from any Record Office, you might like to peruse this post http://liverpool-genealogy.org.uk/phpBB ... php?t=6937 which will give some information on what you might or might not be able to ask for.

I'm assuming that you have the details of the baptisms from the IGI, if so it is unlikely that there is any more information on the originals than was transcribed.

LRO look up

Thanks MaryA

I realise all the look ups are pre 1837 Civil registration therefore not in the GRO. However, I assumed the local record offices would have parish records covering these dates which is why I included the names of the Churches. The IGI doesn't normally include extras such as occupations or addresses, but I hoped something might be in the Church registers.
