Would anyone know how I could find out the dates/pomotions for the police service of a Richard Sayle. He was born in 1888, served in the Liverpool City Police before joining the Grenadier Guards from 1914-19, and presumably serving the the police after WW1 as well. He resided in Widnes and died in 1973.
He had a son called Eric Sayle
