Can't guarantee this is the one but searching FreeBMD there is only one Sarah Ann within a five year period for Liverpool.

Checking www.familysearch.org.uk
Sarah Ann Walker
Parents : Cornelious and Martha Dixon
Born: 28 July 1843
Christened: 17 May 1844 St Anthony, Liverpool, Lancashire, England

Nope that's totally the wrong way about, can't be this child, dates are wrong.

I'm afraid I don't understand that, unless it's the reference numbers for the volume and page.

Those references can be used only to order the certificate from the GRO, http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/ It will cost you £7 and is delivered fairly quickly.

Greetings Tina! yes I did! I was based at Neston, Crosby and Formby while staying there and was kept busy every day, taking newly discovered relatives out to luinch, also in Manchester, Oxford, London and Rye. I visited Llangefni twice and added two more generations to my Jones tree. I found that they were running two farms and that i am related to the Jones of both farms. (sadly I still havent found any living relative of this branch).
I had only two breaks in this routine, firstly I met with 14 of the Waterloo Harriers and had a dinner at the Victor Hotel on Lord Street. The second is that one of my former charges (I was a Coach)picked me up and took me to see his son run in Manchester and drove me back to Formby.
As much as I would have liked to meet my gernealogical friends both in Liverpool & Bootle there just wasn't any time to do so!
Also i found then location of the Walker Family Bible!!!! Regards Joe

Dear friends you are always so kind and helpful to me!!

Some of you have already worked on this before when I was trying to find her Birth Certificate.

I just noticed on her Wedding Certificate 1869
when she married George A Niblock, that she is not just Sarah Walker but Sarah Ann Walker. So I thought that i might have a second try and see what info I might pick up before ordering the Certificate. Kindly Joe[/i]

Ellen Walker daughter of Richard Walker (of Liverpool)
married three times, each time to a Mariner, each time she quickly became a widdow.
Possible Marriages to John Walker,(c1842) Thomas Walker (1848) and George Enslow (1850)
She had two children by John Walker, Sarah Ann Walker (b circa1843/44 ) & James Walker(b circa 1846)

James Walker shows father John Walker on Marriage Certificate
Sarah Ann shows father Thomas Walker on Marriage cERTIFICATE

As FAR AS i CAN MAKE OUT sARAH IS MISTAKEN as there is a possible Ellen Walker/ Thomas Walker marriage in Liverpool in 1848 org
When she married George Enslow she listed the children as Enslow.
Ellen did have an Enslow child Sophie Enslow who died in infancy.

Sarah & George Niblock were the witnesses to James Walker marriage to Catherine Byrne my G Grandparents Joe

Hi All
I was hoping to find Sarah Walker in 1851 with her remarried mother.

Not sure about this:

55 Denison St, Ellen Enslow 32 mar mariner's wife
Sarah Enslow 8, James 3, Sophia 1.(little Sophia died Sep 1851)

or this 1861 Gibraltar Close
Ellen ENGLOW wid 44, Sarah 17 dom serv, James 14 fishman.(can't find birth for him as Enslow) or census. Did find James Walker though correct age.

It's a puzzle alright.
Gotta go, batten down the hatches, a hooley on it's way
3 weeks into spring & the weather is shocking, been like this since 1st June. Coldest/wettest winter for 20yrs.
The ducks on the pond over the road are happy & the dams are full :) .

Hi lovely person in WA! I have found your post on George Niblock at Liverpool. I am wondering if he is at all linked to the Niblocks who emigrated to South Australia in 1854? ( Note - I am an Ozzie also!)I am trying to trace John Niblock born about 1818 ( was 36 when he boarded ship in 1854 in Liverpool) -born in Ireland so it is thought- perhaps County Cavan?. John Married a Catherine unknown who was 34 ( born 1820)? They had Ann, William and Matilda with them when they sailed from Liverpool in 1854. I keep drawing a blank with them and family prior to departure for Australia.

Could they perhaps be cousins to your Niblocks as born in the 1840s? As far as I know there are no other Niblocks in SA other than descendants of John and Catherine. Am wondering if you have any background info on your George.

I would love to know more about John and Catherine- where they married etc , her maiden name and his parents. I noticed previously George Niblock in the UK censuses at Liverpool and wondered if there was a family connection as my research stops at Liverpool docks in 1854.
:) Hope you or someone out there in Liverpool region is able to help!

Sorry! the Niblocks only became my blood relatives by the marriage of George and Sara Walker ( Enslow). She was called Walker on the Marriage Cert. Joe in Tx

Sarah's brother John Walker married Catherine Byrne in Liverpool and continued to live in Liverpool / Bootle till his death. JW

To throw a possible spanner in the works, I have a friend who married a "Niblock" and they always said the name derived from Norway.
