Hello Simone,

Not sure if I've been in touch before over the years so apologies if I'm wasting your time.

Ethel Davidson b. Whitehaven. She was my grandmother on mom's side.

Hi Dave

I can't see an obvious connection, although the name Ethel is in our family.

My Davidson's were born in Workington in the mid 1800's and in Carlisle before that.

Do you have Ethel's parents names?

According to info I received from Dot on here it was Alexander Port Davidson and Jane Kitchin.
