look up 1901 census

Could some kind person do a look up in the 1901 census for me please
John P Bradley aged about 20, wife name of Mary.
Hopefully living in the Toxteth Park area. Would like to know the name of any children

There is only one J P Bradley with a wife Mary but he was b 1873 so was 28

How close is "about 20"?

There would appear to be two John P Bradleys living in Toxteth, not far different from each other in age, but if you are right in that his wife's name is Mary then I assume it's this one but the age is quite a bit different from what you gave, the other's wife is Ellen.

Thank you for that. Yes this is the correct one, obviously I have the age wrong. Mary Kelly is the sister of John P Bradley, so it looks like they were living in the same house

They may have only just got married and that's why there are no children. I'd check out when they got married thenthe 1911 census to see if they had children post 1901 census.

Hi

The 1911 has John Patrick Bradley aged 39 b Liverpool and Mary Bradley aged 39 b Birkenhead in Toxteth Park

There is an 1895 marriage on freebmd for a John Patrick Bradley but no entry for a Mary on the same page and Lancs BMD shows spouse as Ellen Rigby

I have got a marriage for them, it was in 1893, so if they had children they would surely have been on the 1901, and I have them on the 1911, It also states that they had been married 19 years and no mention of children
