Might I suggest that you amend the heading of your request to include what you are looking for so that it catches the eye of anybody who might have access to what you require.

Is it trade directory, street directory, electoral roll you are interested in? and include the date.

One more point, do you know which area of Liverpool the particular Lamb Street is, I know there was one in Kirkdale.

Hi Mary, I have a birth certificate which gives a M. Anderson living at 60 Lamb Street Liverpool looks like a U D?? after the Liverpool.

Date was November 5th 1929.
I am hoping to find out who else was living at this address at this time

Thanks Peter

Lamb Street

Hi

UD stands for Urban District. The electoral Roll would be the best resource to look in for other occupants in the house.

If it were me going to the Record Office to give assistance, that information wouldn't be enough for me to identify Lamb Street since I know there is one in Kirkdale, but the Urban District could be a wider area and there might be another.

Since you have a birth certificate a clue as to who is being looked for might be either the mother's name, parents names, or just the person who registered the birth and what their address was, if different from Lamb Street.

Your heading of "Anderson" isn't specific enough to let our members know what you are looking for.

The birth cert states a M anderson at 60 Lambe street, daughter Margaret Anderson, it also states Margaret Anderson ( Mother) bag warehouse machinist at 60 Lamb Street.

I was hoping to find others living at this address ie: Spouse etc

I will try the electoral roll thanks

The only Lamb Street, Liverpool in my 1930s road atlas is shown as Liverpool 5, between Commercial Rd & Stanley Rd. There is no 'e' on the end.

Anderson family 60 Lamb Street

Post by Katie »

Hi

I looked up 60 Lamb Street and here are the family who are residing in that house

1929/30 Electoral Roll 60 Lamb Street Kirkdale

Polling district 4

Peter Anderson
Margaret Anderson
Elizabeth Anderson
Margaret Anderson Junior
Eliza Anderson
Mary Anderson

There may be others residing in the house who will not be old enough to vote
Hope this helps
