Which John Kevan?

Post by daggers »

I am trying to find the date of death of John Kevan, a miller who died around 1854/6. Letters of Administration were granted to his widow Jane in 1856 when she was in Wavertree. FreeBMD shows two registrations for deaths of John Kevan, one in Q1 1854, West Derby, 8b/300, the other in Q4, 1856, WD, 8b/306. Neither shows an age.
Ancestry does not provide any burial details and I would welcome any thoughts about other sources.

Per the online GRO deaths, the one who died in 1854 was a child aged 0 (who is also in the catholic burials on Ancestry), the one in 1856 was aged 40.
