1871 census

Post by daggers »

I'd be grateful for help from our experts on tracing a census entry which I found a long time ago which I cannot find again.
Mary E Baines, widow, 51 was at 14 Catherine Street, Liverpool, with her 'brother' [actually brother in law] John, aged 43. I have tried Ancestry with all the combinations I could think of with no success.

I'm sure someone could do better.

Sorry daggers, I've looked too. Must be both missing something. FMP lets you search by address, but I not got that. :(

Try Mary E Brines, born about 1820, Liverpool:-

Thank you all very much. I'll stick a note on Ancestry AND remember to note the reference this time. [Slaps own wrist]
