Searching for information about Mary E WOOD
Searching for information about Mary E WOOD
Searching for information about Mary Evelyn WOOD (nee Woodhall), who died in Mossley Hill, Liverpool in January 1947 aged 84. Also information sought about her son Edgar WOOD, accountant, who may also have lived in Liverpool. Mary was married to my great-uncle Henry Wood, and previously lived in Manchester.
Re: Searching for information about Mary E WOOD
It might be worth getting a copy of her will as this may give a bit of information. https://probatesearch.service.gov.uk/Ca ... 6#calendar
Re: Searching for information about Mary E WOOD
Hi and welcome to the forum. It would be well worth getting a copy of the Will as suggested by Karen as there may be details of family members.

Hi Paul from Brizzie..Do you have Mary,Henry and Edgar in census?

Re: Searching for information about Mary E WOOD
Many thanks to Karen, MaryA, and Karen for your suggestions. They are much appreciated. My apologies for not replying sooner, but have been busy with family matters. I know quite a lot about Henry and Mary Wood up to the 1911 census, but less after. I found their grave at Manchester Southern Cemetery when we visited in June this year. They had 5 children in all, but the twins died very young. Frank was killed in WW1, and I don't know what happened to Harold. Edgar was my best hope! As Mary died in Liverpool, she may have been living with Edgar but I can't find any more about him.
