I think maiden name is okay but date of birth & maiden name is too much for recent birth indexes. The Irish Genealogy ie website had both on some of their birth indexes. It's a pity they couldn't have removed the date of births from the recent indexes instead of removing a lot of the index records. Free BMD just has maiden names on their birth indexes and I'm not aware of any restrictions on that site.

I excitedly went to check the names in my tree, but sadly the only ones, a couple of Fitzgeralds, don't fit at all :(
