Anyone obtained records from the WFA? Never heard of them until today. Any experience of them?:-

I can understand the charges but would suggest that some research be done first on Ancestry/Findmypast, even if you don't have access at home, go to the library, and so you have something solid to be worked on.

This was mentioned on another site I thought all available records were already online. I was surprised when someone mentioned they had put in a search request for a WW1 record.
