In 1901 #82 is the residence Robert [28] and Sarah [22] Rawlings, he a coal carter and she a dealer in groceries, so it may have been a 'front-room' shop.

Thank you Blue70 and Dickiesam for very quick replies. A distance relative lived there according to the 1911 cencus but as is usual with my lot I cannot find their deaths. She ran the shop and her husband was a worker. I now know they had moved on by 1938.

Numbers 82 and 84 were on opposite corners of Brookhill Road and Kent Street in Bootle.

If we can see that 1911 census summary with details of ages, YoBs and children etc we might be able to help find their deaths, especially if you have birth dates as well.

PS: And if their surname isn't Smith or Jones or Evans, etc.....

Thank you Blue70 for the additional info. Dickesam Thanks also. Surname is the next best Jackson 1911 cencus RG14 Piece 22442 Schedule No 56. John Jackson 1882 - Annie 1883 - Joseph 1901 - John 1905 - Robert 1906. Not much to go on plus half this side of the family were RC and the other half CofE.
