Power of elimination today.
I think my father and uncle possibly went to SFX in the 1930. Reasoning....appears to be the only catholic school near to Peter Road and Hampden Street (well thats all I can see on google) and I presume (rightly or wrongly) that they wouldnt have travelled very far.
May have to look at other schools.......it was a mixed marriage
although nan seems to have stuck to her religion and grandad seems to have been happy for her to do so 
Dad appears to have been a "laxadaisy" catholic..........while uncle seems to have ditched it completely Are any records held at the library for schools and their pupils, or will I have to apply directly to the schools involved.
