The Rogers family lived in Hopwood Street off Scottie Road before moving up to the sloping streets of Everton. Ken does not shy away from discussion about the sectarian faultline that ran through the area and shows how people's differences have mellowed over time. I love the funny story here about the little Catholic girl who got lost on the 12th July and ended up on King Billy's horse!
