Have been searching through the old posts looking for some of the hilarious antics we got up to.. from Recipes to Colettes amazing breakthroughs!
I still giggle at Mary A & her French translation, I thought WOW!!then she told us she used her school girl French plus the on line translator 8)

The old search does not work the same, not a complaint..

There are so many names I remember, who cheered me up no end (Too many to quote, without missing someone out)

Are you still here?

Hi Gray, we don't have much fun and frivolity anymore in the forum.
Times have changed. Just a little bit in Off Topic, not like the old days.
Many posters from back then have left.
That's why I joined the Bootle Forum, we have our genie posts but we
also have topics, fun, and a beautiful photo link.
I love their friendship.

I'm still here too, Gray.
Pop in and help if I can, but not done much FH on the Liverpool front lately. Trying to sort out hubby's tree which is all Essex and London when I get a moment!!

Think most of the forums are quiet, maybe time of the year, hols etc and the sun has finally made an appearance!

Nice to see you back and Holly too.

Don't know if you remember me, Gray. We had a connection with Tweed Street.
Do you still have relatives in France? As I recall you were going somewhere near Limoges to see them. That's not a million miles from where we are. I fly to Liverpool from there when I visit family.

Morning girls & everyone

It's lovely to see the 'old names'.

Yes I remember you very well Barbara, with the Tweed street connection.

I only went to France the once. I had a great time with my nephew & his lovely wife, they spoiled me. I may go again some time, God willing.
They have what we would call a small holding, it has a gite attached. He lets it out all year round. Keeps pigs that he kills :( then cures the meat.. Not something I could do.

I eat meat but don't want to know their names..

It really is great to see you all.
