Burial Records for a death in Linacre Road Litherland 1932

Post by Olduser1 »

We have been unsuccessful in tracing any records of where our Grandparents were buried, tried Bootle, Anfield, St Marys and Ford cemetery records,
Deatils are: Jessie Davidson age 44 died 29th June 1932 address 143 Linacre Rd Litherland.
also James Davidson age 69 , died 19th January 1950 address 19 Markfield Road Bootle.

Any suggestions where records for their local church St Matthews Stanley Road are kept ?
Also anyone found any records for the Linacre Misssion ( known locally as Walkers Mission )

How about trying Everton, Kirkdale and West Derby?

Have you tried? They hold the records for Thornton both cemetery and crematorium, and Bootle.

Thornton Crematorium
Address:

Thornton Garden of Rest
Lydiate Lane
Thornton
Postcode:
L23 1TP

Email:
thornton.gardenofrest@sefton.gov.uk

Telephone:

0151 924 5143

Notes:
Contact information for Bootle and Thornton Cemeteries

The local paper Bootle Times - on film at Crosby library and at Liverpool Record Office may have details in an Obituary or death notice.

Where were their parents buried? Is it possible they could be there?

Thanks for these ideas
Yes I was quite confident their records would be at Bootle Cemetery, I have now asked Thornton to recheck for any record at the crematorium.
One side parents are in Scotland, I'm just asking another relation about James's details.
