I believe that some members of my family went to the bluecoat school, how can we locate information

The admissions registers are at Liverpool Record Office. I believe they will be at the temporary base at Sandhills. You will need to contact the Record Office at Sandhills and then arrange to go and see them there.

There are Admissions and Application Registers for the Bluecoat School, also some Minutes Records although these may not have any entries of interest to you, probably more to do with the running of the school. I can confirm that these were in document form, not on microfilm and that Ed. Officer's advice is good, make an appointment at Sandhills to see them.
