Hi back again .....firstly Happy New Year to everyone

Well have started compiling my family tree will all the information you helped me with, once again many thanks. I have done it with memories and dates not just dates and it tells a story of their lives, not just dates of passing thro this world!!

I am now looking for any other members who have a connection to the SMART family. Sara West Smart being my great great grandmother!! So if anyone out there knows of her or them would love to hear about them or better still if there are photos of any of them!!

Love the Facebook page........was wondering could I post a picture of my grandad on there........would like help with uniform he is wearing and not being good with computers found it hard to fathom the way explained to me to get them on here.

To be honest I found the instructions easier to upload to here than onto Facebook If you would like to email the picture to me I will post it on this thread for you.

I have a facebook account so would find that easier, but will take you up on your kind offer and email it to you.

I wasnt looking for live relatives in particular, just somebody who had the smart family in their tree. they are a huge family!!

Just me I suppose, only use Facebook a small amount and not very much got to grips with the complications of it all. The only problem with uploading the photograph on there would be that those who don't have a Facebook account may not be able to see it to help, however, perhaps you could post it in both places to have the widest circulation.

In my tree I have Joseph Smart marrying Frances Twigg they had Gertie,Alexander Amy etc frances died in 1912 and Joseph remarried Jane Lunt who had a sister Nancy Lineker

Sorry should have said Joseph Smart married Mary Davies
related to lomax davies.It was Thomas Twigg (Frances Twiggs grand father) who married Jane Lunt who had Nancy Lineker with them in 1851 census

John Kelly birth 1888 lived No 3 9 Court Saltney Street, Liverpool 3. Most dock workers lived in this area, John's father was a dock labourer. (1891 census)

at 13 (1901 census) 37 Benledi Street, possibly how he met my grandmother who lived in No 92

27 DONCASTER STREET, LIVERPOOLThis was the address given on his marriage certificate to Bridget Edwards (1912 census)

I have not got much further than that, been trying to sort out the Davies side..........if it wasnt for this site I would still be running around in circles with them.

The kelly's as with the Davies are common names and it is taking me longer than I thought..........but on saying that I love it

If you reconize one of your Kelly's (my john married Bridget Edwards, and I have had a lot of luck tracing her side) let me know. Welcome aboard !!
