Liverpool Pubs 1861

Post by Pete »

Hello, folks
Can anybody let me have any info. on "The Cheshire Arms", which was on the corner of Canning Place and Litherland Alley. My ancestor William Wood was landlord there, according to the 1861 census. He died in 1864.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Good suggestion by Colette, don't just ask for a photograph of the pub, ask for the streets also since it may be there in the background.
