John William Kelly 1830-1878

Hi all
I am trying to find information on John William Kelly born 1830 Liverpool, he died in 1878, I have found him on the census, and that he was a brick and drain-pipe manufacturer ( Horn and K or Kelly earthemware and drain pipe manufacturer, Berwick street West Derby ) I think his partner was David Horn. John named one of his son's Stanley Horn Kelly. The thing is I would like to find a little bit more info if I can but have hit a brick wall, any idea were I should look I would appreciate any help you can give me, also can I please ask if any one is going to the records office and has time can you please look up John W Kelly death certifficate for me it was it was the March quarter 1878 Liverpool vol 8b page 165 I am not sure if you can look up death certifficates.

There's the following baptism on the LDS IGI:-

John William Kelly
Christening: 15 Aug 1830
Church: St Peter's, Liverpool
Father: Henry
Mother: Elizabeth

Another one but this is from 1831:-

Christening: 19 Sep 1831
Church: St Peter's, Liverpool
Father: Thomas
Mother: Sarah

Sorry but we are unable to look at death certificates at the Record Office you would have to apply for the certificate or look for the burial for that quarter.

Unfortunately the only way to get information from Death Certs is to buy a copy. You can do that online here, using the GRO Index reference you already have: http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certi ... efault.asp

Thankyou all so much for your help yes John did marry Mary griffiths, and Henry and Elizabeth were his parents, I will send off for the death certifficate.
