Open Day - St.Michael's, Altcar

St.Michael and All Angels, C. 0 E. Church, Altcar, is having an Open Day, on Sunday, 10th November.

The following are some of the items available -

1. Altcar census returns 1851 - 1901.
2. Parish Registers - marriages, baptism and burials 1664 - 1812.
3. Marriages 1837.......
4. Baptisms 1881 - 1991.
5. Burials 1912 .......
6. Gravestone inscriptions (excludes stones which have been laid flat - ongoing project)
7. Various display sheets.

Morning Colette,

My daughter was married there 2000. All other half's maternal ancestors were baptised, married, buried, there back to early 1700's !
