Brookfield Cottages were off Victoria Road, Aigburth, which is an extension of Ashfield Road, near Aigburth Vale.
The cottages and other terraces of small houses nearby were demolished after WW2.
Until 1902 , Garston was separate from Liverpool and Aigburth was one of the townships within Garston. The northerly boundary of Aigburth was at Jericho Lane and Aigburth Vale, though latterly it seems to have been extended to cover the area between the Vale and the Dingle, which were properly part of Toxteth Park.
If you send me a PM with your email address I will send a scan from the 1908 OS showing the exact location.
