Toxteth Park cemetery plans

Post by daggers »

For anyone looking for a grave at Toxteth Park cemetery, this site is an immense help:
http://www.toxtethparkcemetery.co.uk/Gr ... tions.html

It shows the individual plot numbers of all the graves except for Church of England Sections L & M and should be used in conjunction with the City Council's map which shows up in most searches.
The sections of the map can be printed off.
It is helpful to know that the CofE plots are sometimes referred to as 'Consecrated'. The 'General' plots are also known as 'N/C' or 'Non-Conformist'.
Take care with the figure '1' and letter 'I'.
There is no Roman Catholic section in this cemetery.
Some of the numbers do not run in any logical sequence, so it is worth looking round the margins where extra plots have been squeezed in, and it definitely worth having a magnifying glass close by!
