Here I am again, looking for help with a man who served in WW1 in the King's Liverpool Regiment.
This time it's William James Wilson. I know that he was 19 when he died in July, 1917 so was born c.1898 in Liverpool. He was the son of William and Sarah Wilson, who, after his death were living at 36, Angela St., Liverpool.
William enlisted in April, 1915 and went to France in August of that year.
He was killed in action on 28th July, 1917.
The problem is, I can't find him or his parents on the 1901 Census. There are a couple of William J Wilson's listed but they are too old. I know that William was born in Liverpool and lived there at the time of his enlistment in 1915.
Anyone like a challenge?
Thanks in advance,
Ken
