Lockwood Family

Post by MaureenB »

Hi All and thanks for the research imput you so willingly post.

Victoria like you I was so very sad to hear Robert Died in the work House, I will not mention this to my aunt, she is celebrating her 90th Birthday today, and it would be so upsetting to have this info regarding her grandfather.

However the timing of the work house period and Elizabeth going into Service and Bernard going to the home for whaft and strays.seem to fit, poss the older boys then went into the army.
I am still mistified regarding Elizabeths Step mother who was she? it leaves a gap of about 7 years from the death of Annie......Does the Name Mc Guinnes crop up in your side..?.Did Teresa live at Bath Street..?.My Aunt is convinced Elizabeth and Brother s lived at no 1 not No3

G307 at Ford

Post by 68pages »

Hi

Can anyone advise me on how to find out who else is buried ain the grave G307 at Ford please - any Lockwood family names?

And also the father of William Halsall born c 1835. On his marriage certicate he lists his father as Thomas Halsall Occupation Joiner born in Isle of Man.

I do believe his father was Thomas Halsall born 1794 in Malew but I just cant prove it.

Thank you

Next time I'm at Crosby I'll have a look for you as they have a copy of the internments in each grave. It won't be until the end of the month I expect.

Hopefully Hilary will come up with the goods for you.

I know that at the Liverpool Record Office there are the microfiches that relate to the names and dates of death, giving the grave references and which then can be cross referenced against the grave list.
