What browser are you using to view the form? The browser may have become corrupted. If it is IE then try another such as Chrome or Firefox. I use the latter. Both are freebies and easy to download and install. You won't lose any bookmarks etc in IE, they will still be there, and they can be 'imported' into your new alternative browser.

Good idea D S, I tried it yesterday with chrome I think, I just did same with Firefox. Sadly no change.
While I'm not knowingly causing any probs UK end I'll wallow around in the dark, if I really need to know the date, I'll try another machine.
Just hope it's not fortelling anything for me, 7 days to go!

Since no-one else seems to have the problem I believe there is an issue with the HTML language [HyperText Markup Language is the main language for creating web pages and other information that can be displayed in a web browser] and the way your computer is 'translating' it in 'normal' text.
I haven't yet found what the UTCb appended to the date means, apart from it being an acronym for Universitatea Tehnica de Constructii Bucuresti aka Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest! http://www.utcb.ro/utcb/index.html
In case a wee bug or bug**r is involved I suggest you scan your computer with a good free malware utility such as Malwarebytes Anti-malware from http://www.malwarebytes.org/
I use the above together with a super program from the Emerald Isle... Spybot from http://www.safer-networking.org/ Again there's a free version. I scan at least once a month. It's quicker and cheaper than doing a hot wash!

Thank you D S for alerting me to the fact that I no longer had Spybot!!. Must have been erased when I recently had graphics card replaced. Am now coveered again but so far no system have found any problem. If it goes on too much longer, perhaps I'll again change my password & see if that fixes it-
Just worked it out, stay logged off & I can see the dates of posts, but still can't stay logged on. Before log on : board Index..All times are UTC
[Universal Time Coordinated (UTC)]. http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/aboututc.shtml

Last visit was: 26 MarchUTCb 2013, 7.47p03
It is currently 26 AprilUTCb 2013, 7.47p04........wonder what the 'b' is for? (boo-boo?)
As you already know UTC is the equivalent of GMT which is no longer used.
"Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) is the primary time standard by which the world regulates clocks and time. For most purposes, UTC is synonymous with GMT, but GMT is no longer precisely defined by the scientific community."
The b is an offset similar to GMT+(x)hrs.
If you look at the time on windows by clicking on the time, bottom right, on the tool bar you will see time is in UTC.
Exactly why the time appears to be locked on your computer I'm not too sure at present.
Thanks for stopping by Peter, I'd prefer to slip in quietly myself without the time slot hoo -haa. However I am a curious type & couldn't leave it rest.
doesn't happen on any other site.
Wendy
p.s. time here is 7.30 p.m. & London 10.01 a.m. via world clock.
Hello Peter,
Thank you for the explanation about UTC. Learn something every day! I'll miss the good old GMT and BST. News of the 'change' wasn't in our papers!

Just stopping bye again, have been visiting without logging in as the dates are still too confusing.
Nothing has changed, except my willingness to go though all of the hassle of finding my password after seeing which posts are current.
Nice reading tho' of posts. I always arrive after queries have been answered.
