"On the family search 1881 Census I found this

I have searched high and low for Irlam Lewis and can find no mention of him except on this one census. On the 1891 census there is an Ellen Lewis, daughter 17 and a Frank Lewis son aged 10. I think the above Irlam the son is actually Ellen the daughter and the above Francis daughter is actually Frank the son.
Perhaps the enumerator couldn't read his own writing or got in a muddle trying to write it all out with a scratchy pen nib and ink by candle light in a hovel of a court dwelling
