Hi Bert, I don't think anyone has Directories for 1930.
You may have to ask for a look up in electoral rolls.
I can help with 1938 if you give a person's name.
Whitehorn St do you have a location within Lpool please?

Unfortunately all I have is Rachel Williams arriving from New York 1930, proposed address in Uk is the above, I'm hoping I recognise the name of the occupants,

The only Rachel I can find coming into Lpool in 1930 came from Quebec.

I think the address could be Whithorn Street in Wavertree, I have looked at the 1938 directory and there is no Whitehorn Street listed. Although Whithorn Street is listed, there are no residents listed unfortunately.

Whithorn Street is still there, it is a small cul-de-sac off Webster Road.

I think the elec rolls are still available at the temp library in the museum William Brown Street, I think they are all on microfilm up to certain years.

Charles Connolly was my uncle. Died before he was pardoned in 2003. Spent all his years trying to prove his innocence. And also felt responsible for George Kelly. But one can't go back and undo what has gone before.
