What a week!

Post by Gray »

& it's only Tuesday.

After saying goodbye to g.sons on Sunday morning,

Sunday afternoon, Internet packed in.. recently changed to '**finity' or should I say 'Dastardly,' engineer coming out Friday..it seems ok to me tonight :D
Boiler choked..pilot light would not kick in; Big named company came out (Sunday afternoon) fantastic!! (which was brilliant)unfortunately did not carry the part I needed.. but left me with a heater, again fantastic. (Could not fault them)!

Monday morning engineer came(lovely young man) fixed the boiler.. then did final check.. Sorry, got to turn your gas supply off! Something to do with the pressure.

Nation** Grid turns up.. with diggers to dig the road up, neighbours giving me daggers.. MY FAULT??..

Just waiting for the third thing...

Me woman, Bring it on   No please don't, getting too old

Hi Ann,

I cannot stand the cold!!

What infuriates me.. about 12 guys turn up, all doing a 'sharp intake of breath' and rolling eyes.. then ask me  what's the problem?

I go into the speel, "Well, my pilot light went out..etc!

Oh dear me what a week you are having. I hope you don't get a third and can always be thankful that it's not quite the middle of winter yet, imagine if it had been with snow on the ground.

Well what seems like weeks I am back on line. Something to do with a 'Networking' problem :?

I do live out in the sticks..maybe something to do with it?

Problem now is when I sign in to Windows I get a 'pop up' saying:

Readykey string @CSISPeg@@ SAHPADOHOPAN H KEY_@@K@Z could not be located in the dymatic link library SISBase@.dll

If I double click on this, it goes away.. then when I try to log in to the forum or Anc.. it freezes and have to send 'error message'

Have done a defrag - cleared history - cookies etc.. even resulted in doing a system restore.. Nothing changed.

Am at a loss now, Can anyone help.. please

Have You tried doing a search on 'All Files & Folders' (on Your Comp) for " SISBase"?

It may be someone has loaded (or Downloaded) something on your comp that is causing this??

Found this in Google search:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index ... 956AAsqkDt

According to this Your problem is something to do with the Graphics Driver(s) [If You have SIS Graphics that is?]
Searching for:
Bennett, Brown, Brunn, Collins, Critchley, Dickinson, Dodd, Duffy, Eaton, Edwards, Hertzberger, Highton, Holland, Humphreys, Melling, Morgan, Murphy, Walker, Webster, Wright, Owens, Prudon & Speed.

Many, many thanks Pegasus,

Tried what you suggested(via link), which led me to some 'Wizard' (I am no techie)

In a nut shell, no more freezing..or error messages!

One of the problems was, my photo's on Ancestry all had a red cross on them; Also could not view images for census.. Catastrophic!

Am forever in your debt!!!

Your a star!
