Gray,

The power of this forum amazes me - I was talking to my Father last night... and talking about my Grandfather’s sister Lily ‘Fairhurst’... He told me my Grandfather ‘Francis Fairhurst’ was trying to get Frederick into the RAF with him as he felt it would be safer... he went on as written and joined the Royal Artillary and the story of the way he sadly lost his life is heart wrenching. My dear Fredrick today being remembrance Sunday 11th November 2018 - my deapest thoughts will be will your memory and YES wear your poppy with pride All these men and women did us proud! Jason F (Perth, Western Australia)
