So annoyed with the BBC for pulling John Bishop's episode just so they could start Michael Palin's Brazil on time
Much as I like Michael Palin I was really looking forward to this episode. I see on the message boards on the website that it is because they had to miss an episode earlier on in the series , so it put them behind they will show it later in the year.
Ok rant over
disappointed is all

hope they do put it on at some point was waiting every week for this one
hope it lives up to my expectations now and isn't dead boring (must admit to getting bored last week with John Barnes', too political all the way through. Would have liked to learn more than politics.) Really enjoyed Patrick Stewart's, found it quite emotional

Yes so annoying, even if Katie said earlier that you will all have to look for the blue T-shirts in the background and the RO staff handing over documents as if they were just there waiting for him - as they are
Gray you should start another post and tell us about your finds, we can all share in your success then, we'd enjoy hearing the story.

I hope they put it on in it's usual time slot. I understood why the final episode of "Good Cop" was postponed, but why show it at 10.35 on a Saturday night when the previous episodes had been shown at 9.00 midweek.
I think "who do they think they are" is very apt.
I know Heli.. so annoying.. you get into a series and then they mess it about Afraid I missed that episode of Good Cop.... only saw the first couple. I believe from what I have been told it was a rubbish ending

Absolutely gutted.....as I found John Barnes incredibly boring! Can't get into UK politics so stood no chance at all with Jamaica's! Am away for the supposed Dec 12th showing but will try to set the tele to record it. Not sure if it'll do it a few weeks in advance. Off to spend some time with hubby ! Hmmmm, wonder if someone will pop it on youtube - caught a couple while I was away during Sept/Oct. Fingers crossed eh!

Cheers Simone......unfortunately can't get iPlayer there - well, you can but only the "naughty" way which I'm not au fait with at present! By the time I come home in Feb it'll be long gone! John Bishop is the only one I'll be upset at missing!
Been way, way too long Gray! Spending a lot of time with the other half.......in Dubai! Been helping out some new buddies with ancestor hunting and had some very interesting searches......Sweden and U.S.A. included. The present interest has been in Dublin and I honestly thought I'd struggle but things are getting so much easier on the Emerald Isle! Main problem has been the names the families gave their members......resembling nothing like they were christened with. Hahaha, makes for more fun! Having a ball browsing the forums this evening! Love watching the methods the experts use and info found!
Sounds just idyllic Pauline, especially that you get time to spend time with hubby!
You certainly get about a bit any room in your hand luggage, am only tiny.
Yes, the expertise on this forum is second to none..always has been.
Hahaha.....possibly Sue (30kg allowance) Once I've transported all my tut over there I'll have room for "extras"! This next trip I'm going to keep tabs on the forum.....far better than the 800 TV channels available! Not so idyllic when you get sweaty bum cheek syndrome - not a good look! Temps acceptable Oct to May!
Hope you have fun Pauline, I'm sure we all wish we could join you even if for just a short while. PS if you manage to visit Dublin I'll bet you could make a job from your hobby by taking orders for look ups there!
