Apollinaris Natural Mineral Water

During recent building work on a very old house in Fulwood Park Aigburth a green bottle (slightly smaller than coke size) which appears to have an uneven bottom (within the bottle) was found within the cavity of the basement brickwork with a white label attached which had a red triangle with the inscription directly below the triangle that reads "The Apollinaris business, founded in 1872, is and always has been a BritishEnterprise. It now has 4,500 Shareholders who have invested over 33,000,000 in the business"

The other label in a dark faded one depicting what appears to be a forest/woodland scene.

The house we believe was originally built for a sea Captain in the 1800's and was later owned by the lady who owned Blacklers in Liverpool. It also served as an Embassy.

Has anyone the history of both the bottle and the house?

What number in the road? I think the houses date from 1840s and some may have been homes of consuls rather than ambassadors, who are based in London.
That brand of drink was still around in my lifetime, known in earlier generations as 'Polly'. Possibly a mineral water.

Cannot remember the house number but I believe the house is called "Parklea Manor" and the lady was Margaret Blackler.

After a bit of googling Richard John Blacker was married to Margaret Ellen.

He dies 1919 probate index gives his address as 6 Fulwood Park Liverpool

Margaret died 1957 and probate index gives her address as Park Lea Fulwood Park Liverpool

The Liverpool directories would provide evidence of who lived there before and after the Blacklers. Or maybe address searches on the census. The Blackers aren't there in 1901

No 6 is a large house on the left of the road, heading towards the river, in large grounds.
The diplomatic link I was thinking of was at no. 3, between the wars but left in '39 to return to Italy, having been their vice consul and an importer of marble.
There may of course have been others.

As you enter Fulwood Park via the posts off Aigburth Road and head towards the river the house is about half way down on the right hand side of the road.

The house "Parklea" is I believe now 5 apartments with 2 townhouse's attached where the stables previously were. Think the number is 9?

1873 Directory has Fulwood Park, no house names or numbers listed.
All are brokers/merchants except for one
