Hi all. Could anyone point me in the direction of Kellet Buildings, St Anne. I have someone there on the 1861 census but dont know where it could be, (or could have been). Dont get anything when i google it. Thanks and enjoy your day

If you enter "springfield, liverpool" into googlemaps you will see that the area is just off St Anne's Street not far from Islington.

How did you know that the folio number was 44?

Hard work!

No really I went to the National Archive site for the Census
Street Index, I put together links for most census years http://www.forum.liverpool-genealogy.or ... dex#p85556
and found Kellett Buildings.

Then as I was looking for an incorrect surname I wasn't having any luck finding it, so chose just any old "Smith" in the Piece and scrolled along until I came to 44/45.

On the 1861 census summary Kellets Buildings are located on Kitchen Terrace [Islington?]. They are between 8 Kitchen Terrace and 1 Gaslan (?) Place.
