Beatrice Henderson Born1870

Post by David Hambley »

Hello

I'm looking for help in finding out the death year of Beatrice Henderson. Her first marriage in1890 was to a Thomas David Thomas. then to a John White Henderson in 1909. The family home was 4 Rosslyn St Toxteth Liverpool. I have most of the information about the family but have drawn a blank as to when she passed away. Can anybody help me. Also any thing about her early life before her marriage to Thomas David Thomas who came from around Shropshire I think and was some thing to do with a beer.

Thank You

If you look on the Toxteth Park Cemetery website and search the database she appears to have died in 1934, aged 64, of 2 Langford Road Aigburth, buried 31 January. Family plot: C/E section 9 grave 279. Others buried: Thomas David Thomas, Annie Borelli and Beatrice Maud Thomas:-

Well done Blue, ties in with the death registration.

Checked 1938 no Hendersons in Langford Road, but a John Henry Orrin, policeman at No. 2

The marriage of Arthur Humby in Q2 1935 Reference Liverpool S. 8b 386 was to a Florence E Smalley, so there must have been a marriage to Larry prior to the one to Arthur.

LancsBMD shows the marriage as "Liverpool South, Register Office or Registrar Attended" so unless it took place in either an RC or Non Conformist church, then it may well have been a Register Office marriage.

Using the reference I have given you could order the certificate online at http://www.gro.gov.uk which should give you all the information you need.

Thank you Mary A

Tina has written the name Milli I wonder how she found that name? all the other children listed are correct. Her marriage age to A Humby was 39 so it all points to a marriage before in USA.
