Hi again, Hilary I do have the first wife who was Ann Martin on the 1881 census with Henry Kilshaw with no family, then found she had died same year as that census, then Henry had married Ann Foster in 1884, I have just taken it that the assumed birth date for daughter Annie as wrong as on the 1911 census Ann Kilshaw nee Foster has put she had 3 children???
Also the older members of the family who knew Annie Thomason told of how she took in her nephew and her saying he was the only link left now to her father,so I feel sure she was his daughter,a mystery to me!
I was thinking perhaps Henry was in tow with Ann Foster before his first wife died and Annie was born before that( probably leading a double life ha ha)
Thanks for that Dickiesam of course I forgot that, we were told she was a bit flighty ,whatever that meant.
Erika thats good of you to look again for me, was wondering if its worth getting the 1914 .
As I said I do have all the certs eg; Annies death but not her birth or first marriage ,was driving me up the wall for ages then I just gave up until I heard there were further directories.
Back to the drawing board me thinks ,sure it will be solved ,just hope before I join her ha ha.

Some sites have revealed this column other sites still have this blank.dickiesam wrote:The blanked out areas on the images were removed once the 100 year rule had elapsed late April. The early release of that census was conditional on the privacy rule being maintained in relation to that end column.Dickie Sam where do you see the citation about Mary being feeble minded ? when I look on the census its blanked out in white,
