Liverpool's Children in the 1950's

Post by MaryA »

Liverpool's Children in the 1950's - Author Pamela Russell
ISBN 978-D-7524-5901-1 Publisher http://www.thehistorypress.co.uk Price £12.99

Following on from her previous book of Liverpool's Children in the Second World War, Pamela Russell has again produced a collection of memories from a large group of contributors.

If you were a child, or even an adult in the 1950's this book will take you on a trip down memory lane reminding you of times you had almost forgotten.

Broken down into chapters under general headings such as homelife, holidays, pastimes and hobbies, work and a variety of other subjects, there are many photographs included which make you smile at the fashions of the day and some including historical events captured by those who saw them.

Although it is a soft-backed book of only 127 pages, the text is small so you will find that there is a lot packed into it.
