Given that William [the coachman] and Charlotte Jones are in the 1851 with a 1 month old William I assume they married before the census. HO107 - 2192 - 863 - 18.

There are only 3 marriages that would fit in Liverpool. All three could have married a Charlotte, but our's is from Monmouthshire so I'd go for 1850 Charlotte Williams. Plus there are no older children in 1851.

Marriages Dec 1842: Jones, William - Liverpool - 20 - 213 [Charlotte Grebow?]
Marriages Sep 1845: JONES, William - Liverpool - 20 - 244 [Charlotte Reeve?]
Marriages Mar 1850: Jones, William - Liverpool - 20 - 317 [Charlotte Williams?]

The marriage to Charlotte Grebow is on Ancestry, William is a shoemaker.

Thanks Hilary! :)
Checking the 1841 there isn't a Charlotte Reeve who would be of reasonable marriageable age in 1845 born in Wales. One down, one to go...

Most baptisms with the probable exceptions of some RC ones, don't give you the mother's maiden name so you need to get it from the birth certificate of one of the children. I don't need to tell you that the difficulty with a name like William Jones is it is so common and difficult to know from the birth indexes which is yours, but choosing a sibling with a less common name gives more of a chance of getting it right.

Charlotte Reeve married John Fisher and Charlotte Williams married Robert Jones both on lancsbmd.
