One of my relations is researching a seaman who survived the sinking of SS Drina during WW1. They have information already about the ship and the sinking I think what they are looking for is stuff like a crew list or newspaper report listing survivors including their relative's name. Any ideas?

SS Drina
Re: SS Drina
OK Blue I have the date of the sinking Ill look to see if there is a list of the crew in the papers. I don't think I have anything at home among my mountain of newspapers and I normally copy anything to do with WW1 and loss of life.

Re: SS Drina
Thanks Katie. The survivor's name was Thomas Hutton (1887-1927) he was a Liverpool born fireman. He was from Kirkdale. One of his seamen cards mentioned the sinking of the Drina. Here is my relative's enquiry on another site a couple of months ago:-
