Next time I'm round that way I'll take photos with my iphone if no one lives nearby.

Best keep us in touch on this thread about whether anyone has been for you or there'll be hordes of genealogists bumping into each other in West Derby Cemetery

That's exactly why I always request a cross reference when a post has been uploaded to different forums.

of course if and when someone says they are a definate for taking the piccie then of course i will inform the other site to stop this happening, however, what a nice way to meet others with the same interests?

That often doesn't happen. If I drove along the East Lancs Road and managed to find myself with a few minutes on the spur of the moment to turn off and take your photograph I would do so, the location of that cemetery is such that it leads to unplanned visits. So I certainly wouldn't be able to advise in advance that I would do so.

Unfortunately knowing that my visit might be duplicated by others from other forums would make me assume that somebody else has it in hand.

Having said that I have been known to go out of my way to do one of those "random acts of kindness" not only for our Society members, but also those seeking help who offer assistance in their own areas, such as many of our forum members do.
