The Times website is free to access this weekend (June 2/3) - and so is its archive. I've found my great granddad mentioned in the Liverpool lifeboat disaster of 1892. See http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/keywordsearch.arc
Also can the society take down http://www.lswlfhs.org.uk?

Re: Times website
I couldn't remember the URL for the main site, so I had a stab at it and found this. The worry is that Google may pick it up.
Re: Times website
As it is only a mirror site I don't think I'd worry too much about google.
