Coroners reports
Coroners reports
Can anyone advise how I can get hold of a coroners report for 24 May 1948, or newspaper reports for 21-24 May. Accident happenend at Seaforth & Litherland Railway Station, Litherland. Moya
Re: Coroners reports
If there are any archived, and also the newspapers, will probably be held at Crosby library (for the Southport Visiter) or Liverpool Record Office (for the Liverpool Echo), however, you could check this site first of all.

Re: Coroners reports
The accident might be in the Bootle Times. This is held at both Liverpool and Crosby.

Thankyou, I shall try the newspapers. Checked the railway archive but it is only for accidents between trains, not for people who may have been hit by a train. Moya
