What's the name of the street
Re: What's the name of the street
James Gibson went around all the cemeteries in Liverpool transcribing the headstones, this was very lucky since some of the burial grounds no longer exist, such as Necropolis which is now a garden opposite Brougham Terrace. His transcriptions included an Index of over 10,000 names, taken from 56 Graveyards and Cemeteries, most of which no longer exist.

Re: What's the name of the street
Yes Tina it is very interesting that more and more people today are turning to alternative medicines. When I started to do this research I learned that William Chippendale was born in Guisley, Yorkshire and started his working life as a cloth dresser, sometime after the death of his 1st wife Jane Turner he must have got involved with A. I. Coffin and that lead to him becoming involved in medicine.

Thank you Mary, think you may have checked that before from one of my other posts.

Oh well, whether I did or didn't, I have now and sadly there are no Chippendales listed.
