Well to help with ages and birthplaces, I hope this is the right family from the 1881 census.

There are two Sarah Browns, same age, born Bolton, the first is a step daughter to John Openshaw and her mother is Mary, with other siblings, but I would take a fair guess that this is Sarah in 1871 - living in the same street as she did after she was married and has the correct father.

In 1861 the birthplaces have all been given as Wigan, so I'm glad the previous census was a bit more detailed.
Red Lion Place, Wigan, Lancashire
William Brown Head M 36 Labourer
Ann Wife M 36 House Keeper
Joseph son 12 Scholar
Mary daur 9 "
Sarah daur 4 "
RG 9; Piece: 2776; Folio: 6; Page: 5

The names Ann and Hannah are often interchangeable, although it wouldn't be impossible for William to have married twice.

1851 Victoria Street, Wigan, Lancashire
William Brown Head M 26 Stripper in Factory Ditton
Hannah Wife M 26 Drawer in Factory Lancashire Wigan
Joseph son 2 Lancashire Wigan
HO107; Piece: 2199; Folio: 522

Lancashire Online Parish Clerk site has the following marriage - which you should confirm by means of Sarah's birth certificate.
Marriage: 15 Oct 1848 All Saints, Wigan, Lancashire, England
William Brown - (X), 23 Stripper Bachelor of Wigan
Hannah Topping - (X), 23 Spinster of Wigan
Groom's Father: Joseph Brown, Dead
Bride's Father: Thomas Topping, Dead
Witness: Elizabeth Ainsworth, (X); Joseph Brown, (X)
Married by Banns by: E.Bridgeman Curate
Register: Marriages 1848 - 1849, Page 93, Entry 185
Source: LDS Film 1885695

Again there are a few William Browns of approximate age in the 1841 census, one with the wrong parents, one seeming to be boarding with another family, so definitely a possible, but I will give you this one since the address seems to link again to the previous census, also the witness fits in. It would be a good idea to obtain the marriage certificate of William and Hannah to confirm the address he married from.

Victoria Street, Wigan, Lancashire
All except Joseph (father) are born in County
Joseph Brown 52 Bleacher No
Sarah 50
William 15 Carder
Joseph 13 Carder
HO107; Piece: 523; Book: 9; Civil Parish: Wigan; County: Lancashire; Enumeration District: 18; Folio: 42; Page: 27

There appear to be two Hannah Toppings in Wigan, not too far distant from each other, however one appears to have a father Edward - this is not 100% certain since relationships are not given, but also, living in Wigan are two Topping families side by side, one with Hannah of around the right age
Chapel Lane, Wigan, Lancashire
All born in County
Mary Topping 45
Elizabeth 15 Rover
Mary 4
//
Mary Topping 45 (Widow crossed through)
Jane 30 Weaver
Hannah 15 Slubber
Thomas 5
HO107; Piece: 523; Book: 8; Civil Parish: Wigan; County: Lancashire; Enumeration District: 15; Folio: 17; Page: 26

Baptisms: 14 Aug 1825 St Thomas the Martyr, Upholland, Lancashire, England
Hannah Topping - Child of Thomas Topping & Mary
Abode: Holland
Occupation: Delphman

and a possible for brother Thomas
Baptisms: 12 Sep 1832 All Saints, Wigan, Lancashire, England
Thomas Topping - 1st. Son of Thomas Topping & Mary
Born: 11 Apr
Abode: Upholland
Occupation: Stonemason
Baptised by: J. K. Glazebrook
Register: Baptisms 1830 - 1833, Page 213, Entry 1703
Source: LDS Film 1885678

Hope the above has started you on your way.

The marriage of Robert Draper and Sarah Brown is on www.lan-opc.org.uk and has more information than on familysearch site. I would post it but my tool bar has mysteriously disappeared so cannot do so.

If anyone can tell me in an easy way how I can get back my tool bar I'd be delighted. It was there alst night and gone this morning. Finding favouries and doing anything like edit is a bit difficult.

There only appears to be one Robert Draper born around 1858 in the Wigan area. I suggest you purchase the birth certificate and that will give you both parent's names and his mother's maiden name.

Robert Draper Wigan Reg District Dec Q 1858 vol 8c page 92.
