Hi Jacky,

Arthur John Judge is definitely Allerton Cemetery. I don't have the grave info but now that you have the date of death and the cemetery you can contact Liverpool City Council Cemeteries and request the grave info.

William Johnson doesn't appear to be at Ford or Toxteth so he is probably buried in Allerton too. I would request the two of them as buried in Allerton.

Please note you can only request a free look up by the council if you have the date of death and the cemetery. They will charge you if you request for a search of a number of different cemeteries.

Hi Jacky,

If you're wondering the Allerton info came from the LHP website:-

Thanks Blue :)

I have never found a birth for Arthur John Judge, he was born c 1879, on his marriage cert to my grandmother in India, he says is father Robert Judge is dead....i dont know if this is true either. I have some of his army records but some of them are missing, he calls himself John on them, he was a sergeant major in the South Lancashire Reg...he is mentioned in the London Gazette.

This man likes to keep me on my toes... :x

There was a John Judge (RC) son of William Judge and Margaret Sangster born in 1879 in Liverpool. The only local death of a Robert Judge was in Warrington in 1895.
