The Sun is Shining
It's a beautiful day here in Lancashire, blue skies and sunshine and not too cold either - everybody must be out and enjoying it instead of posting on our forum, it's sooooo quiet. Enjoy it while you can.

We spent a couple of hours with our youngest grandaughter in our village park it was glorious...needless to say... we are happy but shattered with all that running around.

Glorious weather here - up to 20C in the afternoon. It's strange to think that just three weeks ago we were down to -10C.
Yesterday we saw and heard the cranes flying over, a sign that spring is really on the way. Time to get into the garden! Family history in the evenings.

And in case no one noticed.. it was St David's Day yesterday, a day of celebration in our household because my wife is Welsh to the core.
So to make her feel as though the Spring is here, in addition to our crop of daffodils, I cut the grass front and back. Just under an acre!
Which reminds me...
The spring is sprung, the grass is riz,
I wonder where the birdies is?
The birdies is upon the wing...
Now isn't that absurd?
I always thought the wing was on the bird.
