Brady
I think I might have found William and his family on the Irish Census of 1901. Take a look at these free links and let me have your comments. The location is House 3, Castaheany, Clonsilla, County Dublin. The William Brady on this Census is a good match he was born in County Meath and he is working on the land:-

It would be a worthwhile investment to get a copy of that 1911 marriage cert. As well as fathers' names and occupations there will be the home addresses and names of witnesses.

Here is this family on the Irish Census in 1911. They are living at House 9, Blakestown, Clonsilla, County Dublin:-

These records are consistent in saying that the older members of the family were born in County Meath and that the family later moved to County Dublin. I think the Mulhuddart reference must come from when they lived in Blakestown County Dublin and not the one in County Meath.

Last post before bed! The mother's name is Catherine Coyle. There is a baptism record on Family Search's Ireland Births & Baptisms that gives the parents's names. The date of birth was 10th March 1878 and the place of birth says Quarryland, County Meath.
There is a birth index on Family Search's Irish Civil Registration Indexes that matches. William Brady, born Jan-Mar quarter 1878, Registration District is Dunshaughlin, Volume 2, Page 844.
It might be a better option to get the birth certificate than the baptism. You can print out the application form to buy a photocopy of the original entry here:-
http://www.groireland.ie/apply_for_a_cert.htm
Your next step should really be to buy William's marriage certificate as DS advised. The marriage certificate will have his father's name on it so you will be able to find out if his father was called Peter before you order his birth certificate.

The marriage is on LancashireBMD, West Derby, Register Office or Registrar Attended, but unfortunately is not transcribed in the list of Catholic marriages on Ancestry - yet?

Family Search's Ireland Births & Baptisms has quite a few of the children. Could Bernard or Barnard have been called Richard on these records?
There is no sign of Edward in these records he was probably born in about 1882. There must also have been a daughter born about 1871 because there is a grandchild with the surname Caffrey on the 1901 Census with the family.
Here are the six records from Family Search for the children of Peter Brady and Catherine Coyle. The spellings of the birthplaces are as they appear on the site:-
Name: Michael Brady
Born: 12/3/1872
Place: Dunboyne
County: Meath
Name: Richard Brady
Born: 21/3/1874
Place: Dunboyne
County: Meath
Name: Joseph Brady
Born: 16/3/1876
Place: Quarry Land
County: Meath
Name: William Brady
Born: 10/3/1878
Place: Quarryland

Name: Charles Brady
Born: 29/7/1880
Place: Demboyne
County: Meath

Hi Maureen,
Fingers crossed William's father is Peter on the marriage certificate. It will be a great boost for your research having family on the Irish 1901 and 1911 Census returns and on records at Family Search. Here's the link for the GRO for England and Wales you might want to order the marriage certificate online:-

Hi Maureen,
I noticed on this other thread that it was Richard Brady not Barnard or Bernard so you do have the right Bradys on the Census returns and Family Search:-

Hi Blue
Just come back to the grave digging office.
Regarding Richard Brady he is buried in the Lockwood Connor Grave at ford G 307.
Died age 40 7/12/1915 ...living at 27 Sherwood St, he was not there in 1911.
1911 I found a Richard Brady 6/8 Up William St Born co Meath Ireland.
Listed as being aged 39, that would make him 43.
My Aunt thought Richard was a brother of William her father,Married lived in the dock road area,
But she (like me )does get a bit mixed He may poss have been a cousin...
Will dig a bit more
Regards Maureen
Sorry

Hi Maureen,
We know that William and Richard's parents were Peter Brady and Catherine Coyle from the Census Returns and the records on Family Search the next step would be to try to find Peter and Catherine's marriage. They must have married around 1870 but there's no sign of it on the Irish civil registration indexes or on Roots Ireland. It's a pity because it would take you a generation further back with both Peter and Catherine's fathers' names. Getting back to 1870 is good going considering the difficulty of obtaining Irish records.
