Minshul Street is located in Edge Hill, Liverpool. It's a very short stretch of road, even more so since the Council remodeled the road again.

Hi,
In the 1901 census #1 Minshull Street is occupied by the Bunney family; Harry and Winifred aged 28 and 27, and their 2 children Harry [1], Mary [0] and a sister Bessie [25]. Harry is a publican and Bessie a 'barman'. The premises may have been a public house.

Ten years later it is not listed in the street. It and adjacent houses may have been demolished because there's a travelling showman on the site next door with his caravan.

In the City of Liverpool's Licensing Report Book dated January 1909, No. 1 Minshull Street was the Fox Inn, owned by Bent's Brewery* and managed by Charles William Prince. It was evidently on the corner of Mount Vernon Road, where there was a side entrance.

* a blast from the past!

Yes indeed Daggers!

1911 Gores/Kellys lists Hanover Terrace as being off Minshall but no occupants listed, sorry.
It was between numbers 13 & 33, after Lyner St.
