I like the look of Hannah (Ann) Hughes marrying Robert Jones 1842 and fancy Hugh's death aged 24 1844.
I't'll be up to my mate to say if he wants me to buy the certs on a long shot (well, 2 actually).

Thank you for all that Hilary. No doubt that it it is Joseph. Why couldn't the transcriber read it? And why did they add in the whole vestry when there were only the 2 witnesses, I wonder? It's very kind of you. Thanks again.

I like the look of it too..but I can't pin down Robert and Hannah in 1851.. There is one with her being born Wavertree, but they are much too young.. he is a Chemical labourer..they would have had to have been married about age 13/14 for it to be them

We don't know if Hannah's husband was a boatman. If so, he could be at sea 1851. Or canal? Hannah with him?
