walton park parochial cemetery - access/maps

Post by rachyblue »

Hi There

I've had a look to see where this is and am wondering how accessible it is and if anyone knows of a map to the layout?

I have a grave reference, but obviously that's no good if I don't know whereabouts that actually is.

I've seen some pretty horrible pictures of vandalism there and was wondering if it's an "ok" place to visit?

Hi and welcome to the forum. We have links to many cemetery plans http://liverpool-genealogy.org.uk/phpBB ... light=plan unfortunately this cemetery doesn't appear to be one of them.

Much of what was the cemetery is now taken over by the City Farm, although there are some graves still there most of it is an open field.

There is an entrance via Rawcliffe Road and I have spoken to the City Farm and have now added some information on the above post.
