Does anyone know where the Chapel's registers are kept? If they are still at the Chapel, is there a contact?

Hi Daggers
What an interesting topic of which I knew nothing about until I Googled
It was Puritan farmers from Bolton who went there & built a school in 1611. Amazing.

Thanks for that. I await your follow-up.

Yes, it is a remarkable place. It was next to the Dingle tramsheds until they were pulled down and the site built over, but the chapel and its grounds are well worth a visit. They are usually open when the Heritage Open Days are held - in the autumn, I think.
It is a curious cluster of the chapel, the former Odeon and Overhead Railway terminus across the road, on a sweeping bend which gives little chance of admiring the view!

Wow, thanks for that link Tina, definitely a place to try to visit next time there is a Heritage Day. There are so many hidden wonders in and around our City that we never know about.
